The ABCD Pilot Project in Nasouri, Fiji is now well into its second year of operation. The project is managed by the Rotary Club of Templestowe in Melbourne, Australia. In year one, 13 children took part, with 6 children going forward at the end of the year to high school, supported by the Fiji Department of Social Welfare.
At the beginning of 2011, more children were added to the project, making 17 in total for this year. This has obviously added to the need for supporters for the project – so we would love to hear from you if you wanted to help make some dreams come true for another child. It’s an unfortunate fact of life at the moment that there are far more children needing and wanting a basic education than there are opportunities available. ABCD is making a real difference – and we are thankful for your support.
