Viklesh starts college

Viklesh is one of the 13 children who took part in the ABCD Pilot project in Suva in August 2009.

Viklesh dreamed of one day becoming a farmer, and that dream is now one step closer thanks to the Champagnat Institute in Nabua, Suva.  Viklesh started there a couple of weeks ago and his progress has been good.  His place at the college is paid for by ABCD through the support of two members of the Rotary Club of Templestowe.  If you would like to send Viklesh some words of encouragement, please send an email to info-at-abcdreams dot org dot au.

Viklesh was the master-mind behind the beautiful handprints canvas produced by the children attending Suva Christian Community College last year.  The picture on the right shows Viklesh proudly displaying the finished canvas.

If you would like to support children like Viklesh through the ABCD: Art Building Children’s Dreams program, please send us an email or give us a call.  We would be delighted to hear from you – as would the many, many children desperately seeking an education as an escape from poverty.
